SummaryYou will serve as a OPERATIONS SUPPORT OFFICER in the Operations Department of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.ResponsibilitiesYou will develop planning guidance, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and business rules for the division.You will oversee continuous process improvement projects to ensure successful execution and implementation.You will collaborate with managers and personnel to implement process changes.You will identify quality improvements based on lessons learned from audits, investigative analyses, or special studies.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentQualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring program/project effectiveness and efficiency for facilities engineering, construction, and maintenance operations;2) Creating new and/or using established metrics to monitor and report on program or project performance;3) Collaborating with multiple sources to develop and implement facilities engineering, construction, and maintenance operations protocols;4) Sharing information in the form of "lessons learned" with a large department or organization; and5) Preparing and presenting reports, spreadsheets, briefings, etc., for varied audiences using automated systems.
