Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Senior Manager on our Global eComm team.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Manager, Global eComm Analytics & Business Intelligence will report to the Director, Global eComm Competencies and be the Dell-wide visionary leader for continuously improving our eComm reporting & insights at a global and regional level. By leveraging industry best practices and Dell’s available toolset, the team will be the central “knowledge base” for all Dell.com eComm performance measurement, project tracking and support of ad hoc requests from our regional business partners. Main functions include Global External Insights, Global Analytics, Regional Analytics & Insights and Global Tools & Reporting. It is essential that this leader have deep experience in eCommerce and preferably prior leadership of an analytics function at an Internet Retailer Top 100 eComm property or a consulting company serving these clients. In addition, the selected candidate will exhibit strong business leadership skills with regular interaction up to the Division President level and be able to translate data and insights into quantifiable Dell.com actions linked to clear financial benefits.You will:

Articulate Dell’s eComm Analytics vision to the broader organization and translate the vision into executional programs

Global External Insights:

Manage external vendor content from Forrester/Gartner/IDC/NPD/eMarketer

Provides guidance to Global Marketing Research on primary research; share readouts of primary research with Global and regional ecommerce teams

Develop POV on eCommerce trends and manage regular readouts to global and regional teams

Global Analytics:

Build out standard reporting for all regions with Omniture/Site catalyst/ Tealeaf/Clicktail – Content Square/Splunk data and consolidated data sources

Support the Global eComm team with Insights for SEO, CSAT, Site Search, Ratings & Reviews, Chat performance, experience design and experience operations

Leverage UX insights from IT and create comprehensive internal insights

Develop global quarterly readiness materials and manage communication of AOP impacts from Dell.com feature and experience improvements

Align with regional Analytics leads on requirements to manage their business

Global Tools / Command Center:

Manage build of Global “Command Center” with analytics partner support

PM internal and external teams involved in Command Center build.

Gather requirements from global teams to ensure Command Center supports all regions.

Provide RM of the tools needed by the global eCommerce team for analytics.

Regional Analytics & Insights Team:

Share relevant regional analytics/insights with online OBMs/OSMs/Merchandisers to drive business and programs/initiatives

Track daily business performance and drive change management initiatives

Build regionally specific report/analytics outside of the global reporting

Provide regional feedback on global internal analytics to build reporting that can be used across many regions

Understand regional business needs and priorities and translate to analytics programs and ongoing support. A large part of the team will be region- focused to support this function.

Lead a direct and extended team of 7 resources initially, expected to grow to a team of 13 Direct and 3 Indirect resources over time.

Essential Requirements

5+ years of experience in eCommerce functions

5+ years of experience in big data systems and a wide range of analytics platforms. Experience leading an Analytics function for an Internet Retailer Top 100 site

Prior direct management experience

Product management experience

Demonstrated cross-functional org agility; ability to connect with both business and data engineering teams

Strong ability to influence others using command skills to support your recommendations

Proven ability to drive new initiatives and deliver results with significant business impact

Can develop professional presentations to clearly communicate up to SVP & division President level

eCommerce consulting experience serving multiple clients is beneficial

MBA preferred
