Quality Senior Principal Engineer , Global Services Process Engineering (Round Rock TX or Remote-USA)Quality is everything at Dell Technologies. In addition to participating in the review of engineering designs, we assist customers or engineers in gathering and analyzing data. Facilitates defining, understanding and implementing quality business processes and best practices in critical existing and new areas to ensure effective outcomes in terms of performance

Leverage numerous process analytic tools such as NVA, Root Cause, Observation and others in order to identify problems and develop solutions and measure results.

Analyzes data on relevant project information, customer surveys, or other data and draws inferences as well as identifies corrective, preventative and improvement action plans

Key process improvements at organization level

Study, analysis and deployment of organization-wide systems and tools

Process Design including aspects of: Design, Functional analysis, Modelling and Simulation, Solution Trade-Offs, Integration & Test, Verification, Validation and Transition to Operation

Collaboratively lead stakeholders in workshops to define processes, identify friction points, gaps, and developing process improving solutions to improve overall customer satisfaction

Leverage cutting edge tools including Aris and Celonis

Help manage the programmatic structure of how we design an develop processes

Drive insights to why processes are in-efficient

Develop recommendations and actions to improve processes

Required Qualifications :

12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with a Master’s, or 5+ years with a PhD, or equivalent experience in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Process Engineering; or equivalent experience

Proven track record of delivering innovative process solutions, including Process Improvement Techniques and Methodologies (Lean, 6Sigma, DMAIC, ITIL or related)

Aris, Celonis (including process mining), and MS Visio

Demonstrated excellence in communications in writing, verbally, interpersonally and in presentations, especially in simplifying complex concepts into concise PowerPoint for executive reviews or briefs

Successful experience thriving in a fast-paced, customer-focused group

Demonstrated strong organizational and business decision-making skills

Ability to work independently, and still be a team player and collaborate while building relationships based on trust

Demonstrated drive to adapt, and act quickly to process change

Travel onsite as needed (approximately bimonthly or quarterly, pending pandemic resolution)

Desired Qualifications :

Six Sigma Certification

Knowledge of Enterprise Deployment or EMC Deployment

Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies (Agile, Lean, Waterfall, etc)

Prefer Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Process Engineering
