job descriptionWarehouse WorkerImmediately hiring for 10 warehouse workers in South San Francisco with a family-owned distribution company. This is a long-term opportunity with room for growth. Great benefits are offered upon hiring. - Contract to hire - $18 - $22/hour depending on experience - Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM - OT is optional - Forklift experience is a big plus! - 1-2 years of warehouse experience is recommendedResponsibilities

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits

Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation

Complete diary logs into inventory

Report any discrepancies

Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment

Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 6 hours at one time
