job descriptionManager, Accounting and Auditjob summary:Randstad Professionals is presently conducting a search for an Accounting and Audit Manager for a full service public accounting client in West Los Angeles. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity with competitive compensation and growth potential.location: Santa Monica, Californiajob type: Permanentsalary: $100,000 - 125,000 per yearwork hours: 8 to 6education: Bachelor's degreeexperience: 5 Yearsresponsibilities:Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Managing and supervising a number of engagements with clients in a variety of industries

Auditing within US GAAP, GAAS and PCAOB guidelines

Plan and execute engagement plans

Review audit, accounting and reporting matters and propose solutions

Review workpapers for completeness, accuracy and fulfillment of engagement goals

Prepare and review financial statements

Additional duties as assigned

qualifications:The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience. Other requirements include:

CPA required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or the like

Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
