Paralegal for Family Law/Personal Injury Office (Granite Bay)

Family Law and Personal Injury Firm in Granite Bay has an immediate opening for an experienced Paralegal with the ability to perform delegated substantive legal work. 2+ years of family law experience is required. 32-40 hours per week. Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills are essential.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to:

Efficiently prioritize multiple assignments in a timely manner.

Organize detailed financial documents.

Participate in case planning, development and management.

Must be familiar with legal calendaring timelines and local and state court rules.

Duties include preparation, proofreading, filing, and service of legal documents, managing attorney calendars, organizing and maintaining client electronic files, correspondence and communication with clients, courts, and attorneys.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat and Client Database.

Must have knowledge on how to order client’s medical records and summarize.

Candidate must meet the requirements.

ABA Approved Paralegal certificate.
