Hairstylist and Assistant- La Jolla/UTC (La Jolla)

We are an up-scale, fast paced salon located in the UTC/La Jolla area. We are currently in search of an energetic, budding hairstylist who wants to work hard and to grow his or her own business. Our ideal team member must be highly motivated, with a solid expertise in exceptional guest service.

Requirements:

-Outgoing personality with a positive attitude.

-A part time schedule (2 to 3 days a week) to start including nights and weekends.

-Dependable, flexible and on time

- 2 to 3 years of experience to include haircutting and coloring

-A current California Cosmetology License

Duties:

Greet customers upon arrival

Consultation with Customers

Book appts over the phone and serve new clients

Maintain sanitize work areas ensuring equipment is sanitized and sterilized

Skills

Proven work experience as a hair stylist

Hands on experience with current techniques and trends

Ability to provide customized services based on each client’s requests, answering phones and check out guest on Salon Application

Assist Creative director with shampoo, color, apply toners or base, blow drying and styling

Wash and fold towels
