Local property management company seeks an enthusiastic Leasing Consultant for a great apartment community in San Luis Obispo California on the central coast.
Qualifications and Duties
High School Diploma
Clear Credit and Background Check
Professional dress and demeanor
Strong office skills

Tenant interaction
Accounting skills
Prior experience in Property Management preferred, training will be provided
Follow all Federal Fair Housing laws, landlord tenant laws and state rental laws
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
Ability to verify Application documents, obtain Applicant qualification documents for Property Manager approval
Prepare appropriate maintenance requests for maintenance team
Ability to take direction and follow through on assignments
Ability to multitask
Help with advertising and marketing to local businesses
Must be available to work Saturdays
Excellent oral and written communication skills, spelling and grammar
Physical activity required for touring apartments and the community
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Basic math, accounting skills
Acute attention to detail
Ability to manage priorities and workflow
Ability to understand and follow through on written and verbal instruction from Property Manager and off site management
