Director of Logistics (Goleta)

Company in Goleta is looking for a Director of Logistics to help run our warehouse efficiently and according to safety guidelines. Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm / $120,000/year

Responsibilities include supporting all supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation. To be successful in this role, you should be wellorganized and understand the order fulfillment cycle. Ultimately, you will ensure our customers receive the right orders on time.

Requirements:

5 years of experience leading logistics strategy in a retail or manufacturing environment

Experience managing sub contracted logistics service providers including freight forwarders

Able to manage supplier relationships to meet corporate goals

Bachelors Degree desired

Ability to lead projects such as resource planning, space/layout reqs, subcontracted service partners

Proven ability to lead a high performance team to consistently achieve goals and objectives

Up to 10% travel is required
