Job Description
Winery located in Tulare County is seeking a motivated candidate to become part of our cellar crew for the harvest season.
The position is seasonal and it is full time.
Applicant must be able to work independently and in a team.
Position: Cellar Operator - Seasonal
Qualifications & Responsibilities:
Speak English fluently
Ability to understand the metric unit system (g, Kg, ml, lt)
Learn to read work orders assigned and execute them professionally
Wine/grape juice movements via high powered pump.
Filtration via high powered pump.
Washing of fermentation and storage tanks.
Connecting/disconnecting/moving hoses for pump over operations.
Chemical additions according to work orders.
Receive grapes from gondola trailers to the grape hopper during harvest.
To keep work area(s) clean on a daily basis utilizing the clean-as-you-go system.
Ability to lift 50lb
Work attendance
Work attendance will vary according to production schedule
40 hours per week minimum, including Saturday and Sunday
Remuneration
Hourly pay rate: DOE, minimum of $12.00 per hour
