Job Description

Earl Enterprises presents its new concept Seaside by the Pier located right on the Santa Monica Pier. Seaside by the Pier is a three-level restaurant with something for everyone.

The first level will consist of delicious deli sandwiches for quick service and take out, the second level will provide a casual dining atmosphere with traditional American fare, and on the third level will boast a gorgeous rooftop bar overlooking the Santa Monica Pier.

POSITION SUMMARYThe Host is responsible for welcoming Guests, seating them at tables, and helping ensure quality of facilities and service.

Direct guests to coatrooms and waiting areas such as lounges.

Inform guests of establishment specialties and features.

Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.

Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, and to respond to complaints.

Keep all lines for entry and waiting areas well maintained and orderly.

Be aware of anyone tampering with memorabilia.
