Enterprise Master File Infrastructure (EMFI) Engineer PSJH

In this position you will have the following responsibilities :

Participate in 24 x 7 on call rotation as needed.

Manage the core EMFI and Data Courier setup and configuration (ECI, EGC, and interfaces).

Review the EMFI interface error logs and triage error investigations to the application teams when appropriate.

Monitor data and database integrity as it pertains to the ability to sync static data.

Assist Epic support teams and vendor in determining and requesting optimal EMFI and DC INI and item configuration. Implement EMFI and DC INI and items changes.

Implement new EMFI and Data Courier systems / programs / interfaces and modify existing EMFI and Data Courier systems / programs / interfaces to satisfy new requirements.

Determine and implement solutions for problem resolution.

Provide the EMFI perspective for Epic enterprise-level events and projects, like upgrades and downtimes.

Train analysts and other Epic users on using Epic Data Courier

Qualifications :

Required qualifications for this position include :

Bachelor's Degree or minimum of an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and extensive experience.

Three (3) years progressive experience in information technology, with particular experience in interface engine development / management or database management.

Experience with Epic data structures, e.g., Epic application analyst, Epic technical support, etc.

Preferred qualifications for this position include :

Two (2) years of experience with EMFI and / or Data Courier.

Epic Certification in Data Courier

Epic Certification in IntraConnect EMFI

Epic Certification in Chronicles Install Utilities

Epic Certification in Bridges / Interface Administration

Experience with UNIX command line.

Experience with programming / scripting in at least one computer language.
