job descriptionPatient Service RepresentativeWe have a rather immediate opening in Kirkland for a Patient Service Representative . This role is in a fast-paced department, so having the ability to thrive in a high-volume practice is important to your success. Greet patients and visitors at the front desk

Schedule patient appointments and follow-up

Answer phones and redirect calls

Verify insurance eligibility

Register patients and update patient info in the EMR system (Cerner)

Process copays

Pull and prep patient charts

Copy, fax, scan, and file documents

Help maintain a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors by following all health and safety protocol

Qualifications

1.5+ years of medical office experience

Previous experience using Cerner EMR software preferred, but will provide training

Provide excellent customer service to a diverse-clientele

Able to thrive working-in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Quick learner, organized, detail-oriented, and able to pivot between tasks easily

Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to problem solve and de-escalate situations quickly

Team player who is willing to help wherever needed

Familiar with medical terminology and processes

Please note this particular role involves extensive onboarding and immunizations to be eligible to work onsite

Location & Pay

Location: Kirkland, WA 98034. This position is onsite; NOT remote.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:45am-5:15pm

Contract Duration: 13-week minimum contract, with plans to convert to FTE staff based on performance and business needs

Tentative Start Date: October 6th, 2020
