Amazon DSP Delivery Driver (Staten Island and Manhattan)

Dash and Delivery, LLC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for motivated, team players to drive a 16 ft box truck and meet Amazon foot messenger associates in Manhattan (at one location) who will deliver to customers.

Station located in Staten Island so the day would begin and end at the warehouse location. Work with today's largest e-commerce company!

We provide the vehicle, paid training, overtime, health insurance eligibility, and paid time off. Performance-based raises and a big opportunity for advancement. We will assist you in getting the DOT Med Card.

No CDL Required!

Approximate hours are 7 am to 5:00 pm. Shifts are approximately 10 hours per day. Shifts are available 7 days per week.

Note this position has the driver start at our Staten Island Warehouse location to load the truck in the morning. The delivery routes during the day are in Manhattan. The truck needs to be returned to the Staten Island Warehouse at the end of the day. Make sure a start in Staten Island works for your commute!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road

Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.

Use handheld technology, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles

Sort and prepare a delivery route to meet customer promise

Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times

Where appropriate, carry out in delivery station activities including sortation and general tasks

Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered

Work Environment:

Under tight deadlines, drives a box truck to a location in Manhattan and coordinate package delivery with six on foot delivery messengers

Flexibility is key; routes may vary and may be delayed due to traffic from on-road congestion, construction, or other factors

Set core schedule, but there may be adjustments, including additional hours and potential schedule changes

depending on the time of the year and peak seasons and other factors

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior DOT regulated driving vehicle experience is a HUGE plus, but not required

Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Job Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license in your state of residence

Eligible to work in the U.S

Consent to a drug test

Proficient in English sufficient to meet US DOT standard of ability to read road signs and communicate with regulatory personnel

Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long

Ability to operate and navigate a box truck

Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 50 pounds each
