Purchasing Specialist

DescriptionAccountemps is searching for a Purchasing Specialist to join a wonderful manufacturing company in the Loomis area! This Purchasing position is a temp to hire role that would start right away! This Purchasing Specialist would be handling many tasks ranging from:-Contribute to a healthy, positive, and safe environment. Promote self as a team member to not only purchasing department but company as a whole.-Review each purchase requisition for proper item descriptions such as approvals, clearances, etc., and all other necessary data to include quality control.-Process Vendor Requests, including tracking and data entry and invoicing.-Prepare requisitions on a timely manner.-Generate and issue Purchase Orders for goods / services and assist with Purchase returns.-Monitors and investing problems and rectifying issues with appropriate parties.-Request, Track, and Process Vendor Appraisals for POs,.-Schedule releases, pickups, and deliveries for inventory items, as needed.The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years’ experience as a purchasing agent, work very well with others and have great attention to detail and can hit the ground running. The pay for this role would start at $20/hour.
