DescriptionHedge Fund Seeks Fund Accountant in San FranciscoA prominent Hedge Fund in San Francisco Seeks Sharp Senior Fund Accountant to assist with immediate transition. This Senior Fund Accountant position is for those who are seeking a challenge in your work. As a Senior Fund Accountant with this hedge fund you must satisfy weekly and monthly goals and work on ad-hoc client projects. If you are looking for a prominent firm to challenge your Accounting Skills this is the perfect role for you.Duties Include:· Perform accounting and financial analysis in support of monthly reporting for public and private funds· Retail Funds record and report activities of the Fund(s) in accordance with the Private Placement Memorandum, Prospectus and Limited Partnership Agreement· Perform monthly close of books and records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), ensuring adequacy of internal controls (SOX 404)· Works under minimum supervision applying principles of accounting to analyze financial and statistical information as well as preparing journal entries and financial reports· Assist in preparation and filing of regulatory reports (involves preparation of the first draft of 10-Qs and 10-Ks for assigned funds, and referencing documents as assigned to ensure accuracy)· Assist in implementation of system upgrades and automation of financial reports Assist in special projects as assigned.RequirementsRequirements· 5+ Years of Accounting Experience· Hedge Fund or Private Equity Fund experience strongly preferred· World-Class attention to detail needed· Impressive Excel Skills Preferred· Quickbooks/Advent Experience strongly preferred – SAP/Oracle or Equivalent also accepted· Mind Blowing Customer ServiceRobert Half Management Resources matches senior-level financial consultants with a variety of unique interim and long-term project opportunities in areas such as internal auditing, mergers and acquisitions, tax initiatives, and much more.
