Medical Claims Director

DescriptionA prestigious medical group in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Medical Claims Director to join their organization. The Claims Director will be responsible for overseeing a team of 25 employees and ensuring all quotas are being made for claims processing. The claims director will also be working extensively with the appeals, denials, and grievances department and working with their IT department to ensure proper updates are being made to the claims system. The Claims Director will also be creating policies and procedures and working with their contracts team to ensure fee for service schedule are being properly maintained. The Director will also be assisting in onboarding physicians and ensuring the HIPAA and OSHA guidelines are being maintained. The Director will be overseeing a staff of 25 employees and is a plus to have previous claims system experience with either EPIC or EZ-CAP. 5+ of Claims Management experience

EMR experience with EPIC Tapestry or EZ-Cap is a huge plus
