Position Summary :

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating and delegating nursing functions across the lifespan of individuals, families, caregivers and populations in an ambulatory setting.

The RN functions independently when utilizing the nursing process for nursing care and health teaching in the maintenance and the promotion of health or prevention of illness and the support of a dignified death.

The RN functions interdependently when executing a medical regimen under the direction of a physician. The RN is accountable and responsible for facilitating improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.

This position requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral and sociological sciences, and requires critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, which includes knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data.

The RN collaborates with patients, patient families / significant others, physicians, patient care staff, management and community partners.

Minimum Requirements :

Two years experience as a RN in a clinic setting preferred

Education / Licenses / Certifications :

Current WA state Registered Nurse license

CPR Certification

ACLS or PEARS / PALS certification, as required by clinic site

Certification in specialty area preferred
