Job Description Summary
The Brain Institute is looking to hire a computer tech. We are seeking an individual with expertise in basic integrated circuits, soldering, designing and engineering simple electronic devices, working with electronic devices, switches, & diodes, transistors, tech-savvy, and willing to learn scientific instrumentation.
Responsibilities
You will be expected to help with the Brain Institute’s research instruments, computer programming, building some devices needed for research, and other tech activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
We are seeking an individual with expertise in basic integrated circuits, soldering, designing and engineering simple electronic devices, working with electronic devices, switches, & diodes, transistors, tech-savvy, and willing to learn scientific instrumentation.
Desired Qualifications
Work-study and computer science major and school of Engineering preferred, but all are welcome to apply.
