Software Engineer - Secret clearance required

ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIREDTEKsystems is looking for a Software Engineer to add to their team in support of mission-critical systems to provide safe and effective launch, testing, and tracking of Department of Defense, civil, commercial and international spacelift vehicles.The engineer will be responsible for:

Effective communication skills with demonstrated capability to brief project information.

Strong analytic and problem solving skills for design,creation and testing of software.

Strong organizational and time management skills to balance, plan, prioritize, and execute projects.

The ability to work within a dynamic, fast paced environment with time constraints.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Performs systems modeling, simulation and analysis to provide appropriate software solutions.

Develops documentation of new or existing program, as required.

Proficient with C, C, and Java languages.

This team is responsible for mission-critical systems to provide safe and effective launch, testing, and tracking of Department of Defense, civil, commercial and international spacelift vehicles. It also supports ballistic missile, guided weapon, and aeronautical tests and evaluations.The team offers capabilities in range safety, weather, surveillance, modeling and simulation, planning and scheduling, telemetry, radar, optics, timing and sequencing, data handling, and communications. We also provide logistics support, depot maintenance and sustainment. This team delivers unparalleled mission assurance, efficiency and strong risk management expertise to support range operations today and for our future in space.Required Experience

ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM field.

Proficient with C, C, and Java languages.

Experience working with Windows and Linux (Red Hat and

GNU) based computer systems and components. Experience working with virtualization systems (VMware).

Experience working with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).

Experience working with design and coding languages.

Experience working with software design principles.

Experience working with computer hardware
