We are looking for Nursing Assistants for our Observation Unit at St. Joseph Hospital of Orange.
Location : Orange, CA
Schedule : Full Time
Shift : 12 Hour, Day Shift (7 : 00am - 7 : 30pm)
Job Summary :
Under the supervision of an Registered Nurse, the Nursing Assistant will provide routine direct patient care within specific unit policies and procedures, report pertinent information to the Registered Nurse, and respond to patient care needs.
Skills :
Ability to communicate effectively in English (both verbal and written).
Ability to interact with patients, co-workers, and physicians in a courteous, service oriented manner.
Demonstrates cooperation and flexibility by responding to varying and unpredictable situations
Demonstrates ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to transport and lift patients using hospital approved lifting devices or techniques.
Position Requirements :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent
Experience :
6 months of acute care facility experience
Current California Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) certification OR completion of first semester of a Registered Nurse academic program.
