We invite you to join our Riverside Scheduling team as a Scheduler. This is a TEMP full-time career scheduling opportunity that has work hours Monday - Friday 9 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM schedule , and is located at our high volume outpatient practice in Riverside, CA.

In this position you'll get to :

Answer phones and guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns.

Schedule patients for exams, and input / update patient information in our medical system.

Perform insurance verifications and authorizations.

Review faxed referral and authorization documents.

Cross-train and help in other departments if needed.

Occasionally travel to our nearby centers to receive training and / or help with coverage if needed.

Participate in various projects and / or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

We're looking for dependable and professional radiology scheduler candidates with at least 1 year of recent medical / radiology office work experience, computer skills, a High School Diploma, medical terminology knowledge, and working knowledge of insurances (PPO's, HMO's and state funded insurances).

Applicants for RadNet medical scheduler jobs will also need the ability to multi-task, have excellent customer service skills, great communication skills, strong attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to exhibit empathy toward callers without appearing overly solicitous.

Bilingual language skills are a plus!
