Are you looking for a long-term position with part time hours? We are looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant to assist with daily accounting and office duties. The ideal candidate is very detail oriented, can work autonomously, and has previous experience with accounting and Human Resources.

This position is a part time position starting at 20 hours per week, this could increase as time goes on. You would work Monday through Friday but the hours can be flexible.

The position’s duties include but are not limited to:

Auditing bank deposits for several locations.

Audit and update journal entries.

Entering purchase orders and receipts of goods into Sage 100.

Prepare payables and checks.

Manage ordering, receiving and tracking invoices.

Run semi-monthly payrolls and all associated payroll taxes, quarterly reports, W-2s and 1095-Cs.

Prepare information for audits such as workers comp, EDD, etc.

Assist in all general office duties.

Requirements:

At least 3 years previous Accounting experience. Advanced knowledge in Excel. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Previous experience in Sage 100 preferred.
