The SSD Certified Training Application Coordinator functions as the primary build expert to configure, build and install the application into the SCAL Kaiser Permanente Training Environments. The Training AC must achieve in-depth knowledge of the clinical software application, as well as understand the workflows of the business operation supported by the operation. The Training AC analyzes functionality, develops documentation, and tests each new code drop or release. The Training AC also serves as subject matter expert on the design of end user training curricula and materials. Provides specialized computer systems application training to IT and Business Project team members. Serves as primary contact to troubleshoot problems and answer questions from SSD Credentialed Trainers.Essential Responsibilities:

Builds, maintains and/or validate data in the various Training Environments to support Regional & Medical Center training and the creation of training materials.

Collects information and prepares specifications of system enhancements, conducting analysis of functionality of new releases and tests each new release in the non-prod environments.

Keeps current on knowledge of products and various curricula on assigned projects by staying abreast on learning and training theory, methods, technology and new materials.

Mentors and provides tier 2 support to Training Team members, Long Term Support Team and Regional Staff.

Provides group and one-on-one training to Regional Project team members (Physicians and Non-Physicians), trainers and end-users via webinars, in-service and formal training sessions.

Develop regional training strategies with other team members to include Needs Assessment, Curricula, Schedules, Methodologies and Evaluations.

Serves as subject matter expert for the development and revision of training materials.

May serve as Training Lead on projects, including creating and managing project plans, coordinating resources and delegating tasks, functioning as liaison with project teams.

Chairs and/or participates in project specific meetings, including planning agendas, tracking outcomes and completing action items.

Conducts project evaluation, including data analysis, for incorporation into curricula revisions and future project/training planning.

Creates various reports to highlight status and outcomes of training activities.

Basic Qualifications:Experience

Minimum four (4) years of experience in the field of education and/or systems training required.

Education

Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.

High School or General Education Development (GED) required

License, Certification, Registration

EPIC Certification required in one or more applications within 12 months of employment.

Vehicle and California Driver's License required.

Additional Requirements:

Proficiency with standard Windows software including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Knowledge of adult learning theory and application.

Project management skills.

Presentation skills.

Strong communication skills.

Technical and business writing skills.

Curriculum design skills.

System implementation experience.

Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

Ability to manage time and multiple projects and assignments effectively without direct supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Work experience, preferably with technical and clinical systems training (e.g. Epic, Cerner or other clinical or EMR systems).

Web-based training production skills.

Clinical license or certification.

Experience using a learning management systems.

System/build data configuration experience preferred.

Master's degree or clinical license.
