Deposit Products Group (DPG)

The Deposit Products Group (DPG) has responsibility for Consumer and Small Business deposit products, which includes checking, savings, time deposits, and deposit-based payments / money movement. We deliver our services in close partnership with groups like Branch Banking, Digital, Marketing, Small Business, Finance, Risk, and Operations. DPG has over 650 billion in deposits, 24 million consumer and small business customers, and holds #1 market share in debit card purchase volume in the Unites States.

The Role

The Policy Requirements and Execution Leader is responsible for a multitude of efforts critical to the Product Accountability Office team’s successful delivery of value-added outcomes in support of the Deposit Products Group business. This individual will be responsible for ensuring effective understanding, adoption, and sustainment of enterprise-wide expectations, programs, policies, and standards across DPG. In addition, they will create and implement relevant and insightful risk analytics and reporting to demonstrate compliance with Enterprise requirements. Overall governance and internal team operations will be a critical component of this role.Responsibilities include:

Driving execution and accountability for Enterprise Requirements, Policies and Programs impacting Deposit Products Group

Policy & Regulatory Requirements, Inventory, Accountability and Program Execution

Lead Deposit Product Groups’ UDAAP Office

Lead consistent Procedure Design, Development and Implementation

Designing and implementing a holistic function and operating model to translate, implement and sustain enterprise-wide programs, policies, and standards coming from Independent Risk Management. Examples of programs include the Regulatory Compliance, Operational Risk Programs, UDAAP, Reg E, FCRA, ADA, BSA/AML, Reg O/W requirements, Information Risk Management, Payment Systems Risk, Fraud, Privacy, Risk Appetite and Risk Identification.

Facilitating a broad array of governance responsibilities, including the design of a successful policy management approach including sustainable routines to demonstrate Enterprise Policy compliance.

Anticipating impending changes in the regulatory and operational environment and take necessary actions.

Understanding and communicating knowledge of best practices in compliance and operational risk from across the industry.

Leading with an Enterprise mindset to ensuring end-to-end Enterprise Requirements and Policy compliance across DPGs customer journeys and business processes.

Developing and implementing a compliance and operational risk data collection strategy, integrated analytics and reporting platform.

Analyzing and reporting KRI, KPI, and KCI actuals vs thresholds.

The CandidateThe successful candidate will work closely with other leaders across DPG, Channels, Operations and the company in the development and execution of WF’s expectations to comply with Enterprise and Regulatory requirements. Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability to develop partnerships with many business and functional areas, provide insight into the economic climate and related market developments and identify trends which may present opportunities or reflect gaps in the Company’s risk management execution/direction.Leadership, integrity, and credibility will be determining factors in selection. Successful candidates will be articulate and possess a demonstrated leadership capability; they will be impressive in their inter-personal effectiveness and with regard to their accomplishments. It requires a leader with strong relationship management, influencing, vision and execution skills. A key differentiator will be the ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment. The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement.Required Qualifications:

6+ years of management experience

8+ years of experience in one or more of the following functional areas: business process, quality assurance, strategic planning, or project management
