Deposit Products Group (DPG)

The Deposit Products Group (DPG) has responsibility for Consumer and Small Business deposit products, which includes checking, savings, time deposits, and deposit-based payments / money movement. We deliver our services in close partnership with groups like Branch Banking, Digital, Marketing, Small Business, Finance, Risk, and Operations. DPG has over 650 billion in deposits, 24 million consumer and small business customers, and holds #1 market share in debit card purchase volume in the Unites States.

The Roles

These three positions will be posted under one requisition/job ID and each have the same objectives/responsibilities across three areas. These roles will lead the shift to end to end Business Process Management (BPM) for one of the Domains below, in the new DPG Domain Management model:

Business Functional Manager 1 will lead the Design, Develop, Implement Products and Services

Business Functional Manager 1 will lead the Market, Sell & Open Products and Services

Business Functional Manager 1 will lead the Deliver Services and Maintenance Accounts (i.e. Money Movement, Close Accounts)

These leaders will have end-to-end Business Process Management accountability for the processes in their domains and collaborate with Customer Journey owners, Product managers, channel leaders and Operations to deliver customer experiences at scale in a controlled environment that operates within a defined risk appetite. They will lead and champion the Domain Level Business Process Management working across DPG and other parts of Wells Fargo to understand end to end the processes, owners, models, key risks, and key controls in their domains. They will create, maintain and monitor the risk profile and measurement dashboard for each domain. They will collaborate to prioritize and implement improvements to bring/keep their domain within risk thresholds, drive continuous improvement, and deliver on simplification and de-risk opportunities. They will collaborate with their peers in the Product Accountability Office (Complaints, Policy, Customer Accommodations & Control Assurance, and Issue Resolution, Sustainability, & Remediation) to align their domains to the risk appetite of those areas and address areas of concern.Responsibilities include:

Identify, maintain and understand the processes, risks and controls for processes in their domains.

Establish and monitor Domain Risk Profiles and partner to bring/keep domains within risk thresholds.

BPM Policy Compliance and Execution – including mapping business processes with assigned end to end accountability.

Implement measurement, monitor and drive continuous improvement and deliver on simplification and de-risk opportunities.

Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of management experience

8+ years of experience in one or more of the following functional areas: business process, quality assurance, strategic planning, or project management
