Track Laborer

Job Description:

HireQuest Direct in Grand Forks is hiring Track Laborers for a local rail company! This is a temp-to-hire position with full-time hours available. Pay is $19 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Assist in restoration, renewal, maintenance, and new construction of track structures

Operate trach machinery if required

Must participate in daily staff meetings

Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Work outside in all weather conditions

Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. (10-50 lbs. frequently)

Ability to travel 80% of the time (per diem and housing provided while traveling)

GED or high school diploma

Ability to read and comprehend information, such as safety and instructional manuals

Preferences:

3 months of related experiences

Mechanically inclined
