Production and Retail Team Member Position (Newport)

Lunar Landings is a natural soy candle business owned and operated by a passionate couple, Adam and Samantha. We’re top sellers in the e-commerce community for 5 years and recently expanded into our first retail location in Newport, OR. We’re committed to offering our customers high quality, non-toxic, and eco-friendly products.

Overview:

Lunar Landings is looking for individuals with good hand-eye coordination who can manufacture soy candles at our Newport production and retail facility. This position requires an ability to follow directions in order to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble candles and manage the retail check-out counter.

Responsibilities:

Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures

Assist in order processing and shipping

Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements

Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate production functions

Ability to learn the process in order to reach quota after introductory period

May be required to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by supervisor.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English

Good oral communication skills

Good attention to detail

Production background preferred

Ability to follow company and state Covid-19 face mask covering and social distancing requirements

Hours are part- time to start at 20 hours per week. Full-time Holiday hours will be available come November at 35 hours per week. Pay starts $12.50 per hour. Bonuses every 6 months.
