Truck Mechanic/Technician – (Diesel Truck Maintenance) (Irmo)

We are a privately owned dump truck company located in Irmo, SC looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. The right candidate will help with our day to day operations and be in charge of the service, maintenance and repairs of our fleet of approximately 18 trucks.

Job responsibilities include: Tire repair and/or replacement, perform routine and preventive maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery, inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other vital parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition.Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems utilizing a diagnostic computer. Make repairs to diesel trucks, including (but not limited to) repairing engines, alignments, suspension, hydraulics, transmissions and electrical systems.

Certifications are a plus. Plenty of work. Hours and wages negotiable based on experience $17-25 per hour.
