The Modern Work (MW) Customer Success team is looking fora Director,Business Management to support the General Manager (GM) of the Worldwide Modern Work & Security Customer Success team. A successful candidate should be people and process oriented and be comfortable engaging withexecutives in a very dynamic environment.This role is a key enabler to ensure left to right alignment spanning the global Modern Work (MW) & Security Solution Areas at Corporate and in the Field. They will work closely to support the GM along with the senior leadership team be successful from a people and business outcome perspective to drive customer success. We are looking for a passionate, forward-thinking, results-oriented leader with exceptional relationship-building and operational skills. The role focuses primarily on excellence in execution – rapid prototyping to build, test, learn, and repeat.About the Organization:Customer Successis adynamic andgloballydiverseorganization.In Customer Success, we listen to ourcustomers, help accelerate adoption and usage of Microsoft technology, learn from theirexperiences, and champion their feedback to engineering teams to deliverworld-class cloud services that help customers achieve theirbusiness outcomes and maximize their potential.Responsibilities

Work closely with the MW & Security Customer Success GM to support creating, landing, measuring and executing the teams priorities and commitments.

Provide additional capacity for strategic projects including engaging with customers including with key personas (eg. HR leaders).

Build and manage the success of the team to a set of key performance indicators which align with the goals of the Worldwide Modern Workplace Customer Success Team.

RoB support: Value add support to ROB; create and manage the rhythm of business (ROB), including all-hands, staff meetings, etc. to help the business run smoothly and effectively.

Internal & external comms plan of record, Executive All Hands, newsletters, executive emails, events, customer stories, etc.

Manage organizational health via org programs.

Keep the LT on track for assigned actions.

Demonstrate discretion and professionalism when working with leadership team on sensitive business and organizational issues, manage ambiguity, and propose workable solutions to challenging problems.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive experience in a fast paced, operationally or project management focused role.

The position requires an individual who understands how to get things done at Microsoft through influence by leveraging your extensive interpersonal and collaboration skills. You must have experience in execution and building relationships and working with executives at all levels.

Strong knowledge and experience working with engineering, corporate headquarters, field teams, and customersat a senior levelis an excellent advantage.

You should enjoy working under pressure and deadlines, with a strong ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty, while driving clarity.

Ability to work across organizational boundaries to build alignment and drive closure on issues andresults;good project management skills.

Competency in the areas of cross group collaboration, creative problem solving, process development and strategic development.

Strong organizational skills, excellent execution, andfollow throughskills.

Abilityto adapt and changewiththe needs of the organization and business.

Manages confidentiality without exception; demonstrates outstanding judgment.

Abilityto manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Bachelor’sdegree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent strongly recommended.
