Cabinet Maker (Cottonwood)

Full-Time

As a cabinet maker, you will work with various shop equipment to help build commercial/residential cabinets. You will assist everyone in the shop to build cabinets in a manufacturing form, where processes and craftsmanship are extremely important.

We are a well established Millwork Manufacturer based in Cottonwood, CA. We are seeking full-time help in our Cabinet Assembly department. We are a high volume production shop looking for people with preferably 2 years experience working with laminates, melamine and veneer finished goods. You should have experience assembling goods with cam lock, dowel and solid wood glue up techniques. The purpose of this position is to safely manufacture high quality products to specifications, while meeting or exceeding productivity targets.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

You must be able to be comfortable reading and interpreting engineer and shop drawings.

You must have power tool experience (Pneumatic tools knowledge such as nail/staple guns)

You must be able to sand and trim parts

You must be quality minded, attention to detail

You must be proficient with Tape Measure

You must be able to meet hourly, daily and weekly performance goals

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires standing/walking for at least an 8 hour period

You must be able to lift up to 50lbs

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Full time position

Punctual attendance is a MUST

You must be willing to work overtime when needed.
