Job Description
IMPORTANT: This BA needs to have experience with a regulatory or government environment. Statutory and regulatory requirements are the legal foundation for all licensing and enforcement processes. Make sure their exp is highlighted on the resume DAY-TO-DAY:- Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.- Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective.- Familiar with industry standards (including Legacy, Core, and Emerging technologies), business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options and risk identification. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required for the development of computer programs.- Prepares and documents Functional and Technical Specifications for reporting.- Assists with business enhancements. Assist in the deployment and management of end-user reporting tools and platforms.- Works with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements and propose solutions. Find improvements in current processes.- Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager.- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a regulatory or government environment. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts.
