Management Government Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the

communication, deliverables and integration projects for one or more National

Government Services (NGS) contracts. Primary duties to

include, but are not limited to:

Serves as a

primary point of contact between NGS and the Provider Safeguard Contractors and

ZPICs. Under minimal supervision ensures coordination of duties is being

carried out according to Joint Operating Agreements (JOA) and that NGS is

fulfilling its duties under the JOA.

Identifies

operational and strategy improvement opportunities.

Actively seeks,

evaluates and understands information needed to make effective decisions.

Promptly

escalates issues to PMO management.

Completes all

reporting necessary to ensure the Medicare contracts are meeting performance

expectations as defined by CMS, JOAs and program management office (PMO)

management.

Provides

oversight of document control procedures including: initiation, development,

completion, and annual evaluation of SOPs for all critical functions within the

unit. Identifies continuous improvement opportunities.

Analyzes

performance issues in the JOA function to track trends.

Tracks internal

and external customer satisfaction data as needed to ensure continuous

improvement. Identifies and recommends

areas for process improvement and provides analysis as needed.

Requires a BA/BS

degree in a related field; 5 years of Medicare operations experience that

includes communications and/or contract administration; or any combination of

education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Experience with Joint Operating Agreements (JOA) and Project Management

methodology preferred.

Preferred skills

Medicare background

Ability to be review/understand contractual documents

Strong verbal communication skills/ business writing experience to provide professional interactions with our customers.

Ability to review, understand and decipher customer inquiries to distribute to appropriate business units.

Must be able to multi-task in a high paced/high energy environment
