Job Description

Your Career

As a Cortex Regional Sales Manager, you will cover our Federal DOD sales district. You’ll be responsible for sales of our Cortex product portfolio. This includes our market-leading Cortex XSOAR (formerly known as Demisto) security orchestration automation and orchestration platform, Autofocus, and Cortex XDR Detection & Response Platform.

As a member of the Palo Alto Networks sales team, you and your SE will partner with the named sales teams for your region to drive sales of our Cortex portfolio. You will own your strategy to grow your territory and exceed the stated sales quota.

Your Impact

  • You will build strategies to drive integration of our products and an increase in sales

  • Drive adoption and understanding of our product suite across the Federal DOD territory

  • Extensive domestic travel is required, International travel may be required as necessary

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Prior experience selling endpoint and SOC security-based products (such as SIEM, Threat Intelligence tools,, forensics & malware analysis, EDR, or Logging tools)

  • BS technical degree or equivalent

  • 5-10 years of above quota sales experience as a Regional Sales (Executive)/Manager selling security solutions to federal customers

  • Active or prior security clearance

  • Self-motivated

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally

  • Enterprise sales experience with an actionable Rolodex of decision-makers

  • Superb organizational skills

  • "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance

  • Prior startup experience, experience being one of the first RSMs into an organization

  • Experience working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel-centric go to market approach
