Industrial Store Customer Service Representative

Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill ourIndustrial Store Customer Service Representative position. TheIndustrial Store Customer Service Representative isresponsible for serving walk-in customers and phone-in customers.Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
• Answer telephone calls promptly
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use
• Sell welding and safety products and services to customer
• Process customer orders and accurately input customer order into the computer
• Research products needed for customer special applications
• Follow up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedy situation
• Keep sales literature current and organized
• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
• Keep accurate cash till and run daily cash reports
• Answer customer calls and transfer customers if they need service from someone else
• Stock shelves when needed
• Communicate with Purchasing Department regarding any special order needs
• Issue product sales quotes to customers
• Load products into customer vehicle
• Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules
• Perform other tasks as assigned or needed

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of all industrial products and gases
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
