What You’ll Do This is a unique opportunity to grow and manage a team of top-talent application engineers. You will partner to drive the ongoing vision, evolution and innovation of our identity and access management platforms and build solutions for Identity and Access Management on premise and in the cloud. You will lead a team to enable seamless and secure access to applications that support our internal customers and their operational needs while keeping Twitter systems stable and secure.Qualifications
Who You Are To continually strengthen our growing team, we are looking for an experienced application engineering manager for our Identity and Access Management team. This position will be responsible for a team of talented application engineers developing creative solutions in support of our partner’s evolving requirements. If this sounds like you, you probably have experience with these responsibilities:- You are focussed on security and the role of IAM within the security landscape.
- You are focussed on reducing cyber risk and increasing security through IAM tools and processes.
- You think big picture and have a clear execution strategy.
- You oversee the design, development, code review and deployment of identity and access based solutions.
- You hold regular 1:1’s to manage for performance and coach your team members.
- You movitave your team to learn constantly and provide them with growth and development opportunities.
- You are able to tell a story to encourage the team to achieve higher goals and objectives.
- You are a strong communicator, with the ability to share technical ideas and provide updates to the broader remote teams and your direct manager.
- You collaborate with tech leads and other staff to develop technical designs and solution recommendations.
- You partner with internal product managers and work with multiple business partners in different timezones to develop solutions against departmental roadmaps.
- You are able to provide solutions for metrics and reporting to leadership.
- You collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to identify, remediate, and prevent issues & risks.
- You collaborate and help manage the operations team to troubleshoot functionality and provide post-production support.
- You live and breathe Identity and access management.
- Bachelor's Degree or Masters degree in Computer Science, MIS/CIS or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in the areas of Identity, access management.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in development, and implementation of identity, authentication, access management and system integration software solutions.
- Experience working within and driving an Agile development framework.
- Have led multiple projects and distributed high performing teams
- Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Certification a plus.
- CISSP / CISM/ CCSP/ CEH certified professional preferred.
