Overview2020 Companies has a Retail Store Manager role representing our client, Samsung Electronics America.The Retail Store Manager will be expected to create an outstanding sales and a “consumer first” service environment in the Samsung retail store. The Store Manager will be responsible for overall employee management at the Samsung retail store to include hiring, development, discipline and scheduling of employees to ensure an extraordinary customer experience, cost efficiency, and quality store operations. Your Role as a Retail Store Manager would include:Customer Experience and Sales

Fully accountable for execution of sales, service and customer experience initiatives in store

Supervise Store Personnel

Consistently demonstrate excellent leadership and coaching skills

Create a work environment where motivated people can excel

Support team and assist with customer transactions

Coach and counsel personnel on “opportunities” with key sales and reputation metrics, recognize positive performance against key sales and reputation metrics and hold people accountable for poor performance

Employee Management and Development

Interview, hire and make necessary discipline decisions, including terminations, for store personnel

Ensure personnel adhere to the Code of Business Conduct and conduct investigations with HR as needed

Resolve quickly any store level fraud issues communicated by Security, may involve working with Security or Finance teams

Fully understand and assist in educating personnel on the incentive plan and ensure employees know how to maximize

Product Launches

Partner with Store Manager and other appropriate parties to successfully launch new products, services or processes

Actively inspect post-launch and drive improved results with best practices

Partner with General Manager to review staffing forecast plan

Employ Scheduling Tool to properly staff and meet business needs, training and special events such as product launches

Merchandising

Accountable for adhering to the merchandising standards

Instill a sense of pride and ownership in store appearance - where all employees understand their store is the face Samsung to every customer

Compliance

Drive operational compliance of back office processes, procedures and policies

Ensure timely completion of required training to empower personnel to succeed

Implement, execute and inspect existing and new retail programs, tools and training

Execute monthly cost reviews of overtime, discounts, returns and credits

Manage, motivate, direct and coordinate activities of team members to meet and/or exceed sales goals and objectives

Personally accountable for team members and all documents pertaining to team sales

Responsible to accurately track head count, office/kiosk revenue and changes

Effectively provide daily direction, sales training, and guidance while ensuring retention of superior Sales Representatives

Run all sales meetings; make daily schedule for teams

Successfully determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, develop, and manage new employees

Attend meetings and conference calls as required

Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures

Administer and document all counseling’s and terminations appropriately, accurately and in a timely manner while following established procedures

Effectively sell products and services in a retail store environment

Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis

Advise customers by providing information on products and services

Help customers make selections by building customer confidence

Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations

Accurately document and report sales

Dress and act professionally at all times

Performance Measurements:

Maintain proper headcount in market as determined by client

Customer/client satisfaction based on team rejection percentages and substantiated complaints

Qualifications:

Demonstrate ethical and professional standards in a business environment

Demonstrate good judgment and initiative, make decisions and problem solve

Able to work autonomously with excellent time management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
