Roofing Production Assistant Wanted (Monterey County, CA)

The successful candidate for this full-time roofing production assistant position will have top notch communication skills, be able to adhere to strict deadlines, always exceed expectations and work well alongside a highly supportive team. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with a high level of problem-solving skills, have the ability to multitask, and be highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment. The candidate will also have a great attitude, a willingness to grow, and always display excellent phone manners when communicating with customers, management and/or project managers.

Additional Qualifications:

Must be Bilingual.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work closely with our Production Manager.

Manage repair department by gathering information, dispatching, and billing.

Routinely communicate with project managers on job status and crew size or changes.

Work with Production Manager to prepare for daily logs (schedule), print and post in the warehouse.

Dispatch schedule changes along with communication to the customer and/or crew.

Partner with production staff to coordinate services and satisfy set expectations.

Handle warranty processing.

Assist with coordination of purchasing, staging, delivery of materials.

Order and schedule delivery of portable toilets.

Schedule city and county inspections as necessary.

Quantifying change orders and creating change orders

Provide necessary information for the foreman for following work day such work order packets and addresses to job sites.

Informing crew members where they will be working doing the following work day.

Attend production safety, foreman and Raise the Roof meetings.

Other duties as assigned.
