Job Description

As a Quantity Surveyor Assessment Principal, you will manage contract claims and Quantity Surveyors and contract administrators at various operations.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Implementing a framework agreement with Quantity Surveyor service providers for a long-term period, and implement a standard certificate system at all operations
  • Manage costs, invoice management, reporting
  • Assess contract management performance across the portfolio

This role is at our Corporate Office, Johannesburg at aBand 5 level reporting to theHead of SIB Execution.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor, with the South African Council for Quantity Surveyors - advantageous

Experience:

  • 10 years' experience as Quantity Surveyor
  • Knowledge and experience in administering contract claims and managing invoices
  • Project management fundamentals and knowledge of new technologies and their impact on operational activities
  • Advanced skills in identifying structuring, allocating, and management of work packages across a portfolio of project activities
