Description

Core Competencies / Responsibilities

Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines

Effective communication and interpersonal skills excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

Provides oversight and selection of sub contracted work

Responsibilities include protecting assets by monitoring facility security, yard condition, exterior lighting, and perimeter fencing

Managing the inspection, maintenance and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

Manage all building security needs, such as maintaining card access systems and security camera systems

Budget preparation and management experience

Establish and communicate health and safety procedures in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies

Full technical knowledge of Facility systems and preventative maintenance practices

Collaborate and coordinate with management staff to ensure a smooth operation

Support development or improvement of existing and future facility projects

Other duties as required

Knowledge and Experience

5+ years related work experience

Knowledgeable in facilities, utilities, and production infrastructure and environmental requirements

Self-motivated and capable of working independently while managing multiple activities

Good communication, organizational, problem solving, and listening skills

Proficiency using Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, MSWord

Working Conditions

Occasionally work may be done outdoors in extreme weather condition (hot / cold / etc.). Frequently exposed to loud noises, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals in a ventilated maintenance shop
