Requirements:

- Must possess H.S. diploma or GED

- Must be able to pass a background check

- Must be able to pass a drug screen

- Must be currently listed as an active CMA on the Nurse Aide Registry

You will receive:

- FREE tuition and books

Training details:

- Certification is earned through 16-hour course

- Combination of flex classroom and lab time

What does an Advanced Certified Medication Aide do?

- Assists in the care of diabetes and administration of diabetic medications and how to monitor blood glucose

- Administers medications and nutrition via feeding tubes and for oral metered dose inhalers and nebulizers

- Follows written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document dosages

- Interact with patients and their families
