Lawn Maintenance / Landscaper / Driver (Beaverton / Hillsboro / SW Portland)

We are a local landscape and lawn maintenance company serving residential customers on the west side of Portland and in and around the Beaverton area. We are rated among the top companies in the lawn maintenance industry in our area and are looking to find the right person to help us continue our growth.

Experience is preferred and level of experience will impact starting wage; however, we are focused on finding a new member of our team who is a good fit. Any of the things we do at this company can be trained, we are really looking for someone who likes working outdoors, wants to grow with the company, and is seeking stable employment for years to come.

Job Responsibilities Include:

- Understanding and upholding quality standards of the company on a daily basis

- Operating mowers, trimmers, blowers, pruners, aerators, thatchers, chainsaws, sprayers, etc

- Driving GMC or Chevy 3500 landscape dump trucks with single axle trailers attached - NO CDL required

- Picking up landscape debris (such as leaves in the fall) and dumping into back of dump truck

- Managing daily maintenance routes in absence of supervisor, as needed

- Interacting with customers on occasion in the absence of a supervisor

This position has a LOT of room for growth and development up to and including management responsibilities. Requirements include:

- Must have a priority on working safely

- Valid drivers’ license and appropriate legal documentation to work in the United States

- Clean Driving Record

- Must be reliable and on time

- Must be able to work 8-10 hours per day regardless of weather conditions

- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs

- Must work well with others

- Must be able to operate in an alcohol/drug free environment

Compensation:

Starting at $16-$18, depending on experience, and then reevaluated after a 90-day period

A lot depends on what you bring to the table in terms of experience and potential. On the low end we would start someone at $16 per hour, if you have experience and potential we may start you at $18 per hour. After a 90 day probationary period, together we can determine if you are a good fit and re-evaluate your compensation. Also after 90 days you will be eligible for bonuses, paid time off, gear, etc.
