Operation is currently recruiting for the following position located in Moses Lake, WA:

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Reports to and takes directions from the Operations Manager this

position is responsible for supporting the Hay Press Operation as assigned in the Maintenance Department. The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: performing necessary maintenance and repairs to a variety of plant equipment in addition to completing preventive maintenance on site to ensure a continuous and safe operating environment. Maintenance Mechanics work indoors and outdoors in all seasons, and are an integral part of our plant production process.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Following directions from the Operations Manager in all duties in the Maintenance Department as assigned.

Repair of equipment and facilities such as general mechanical repair including welding, plumbing, hydraulic, carpentry, electrical, and Chain driven conveyor systems.

To assist when required in our preventative maintenance program on all types of equipment.

Follow all safety policies and procedures, in addition to reporting all unsafe conditions.

Attend and participate in Any training on safety and other training as assigned.

Ability to work in all weather conditions, both inside and outside when necessary.

Ability to work in a dusty environment wearing all necessary PPE throughout an industrial site.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the Position Include:

High School Education or Equivalent is required.

Experience in maintenance, Hydraulics Electrical welding, steel fabrication, piping, and mechanical repair in an industrial/agricultural/manufacturing environment is preferred.

Experience working safely around electrical instruments and controls would be a plus.

A responsible work history, with a proven respect for company and safety policies/procedures.

Although the position is typically 5 days 8 hour work day , if necessary, the ability to work Saturday and other overtime to complete a maintenance project/repair with short notice, is required, along with Call-Ins.

A positive attitude and the ability to take directions on a variety of tasks.

Verbal and written communications skills appropriate to the position.
