The Terrace Heights Sewer District has an opening for a Wastewater Collection Maintenance I

The Terrace Heights Sewer District is just located east of Yakima across the Yakima river. Servicing 16 square miles and over 2000 connections with 38 miles of buried pipe and is dedicated to the health, safety and welfare of our customers.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1): Must live with-in 30 minutes of the Terrace Heights Sewer District.

2): Must be available for "on call duty" for one (1) week a month. Be on standby during off-duty hours to respond to emergencies during the work week.

JOB SUMMARY:

Maintain complete Knowledge of all aspects of the operations, maintenance, policies, procedures and safety aspects of wastewater collection system and facilities of the District. Be capable of performing all duties required without direction or supervision. Report to supervisors clearly in the absence of the District's Supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIEMENTS & LICENSING

Must possess and maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License. Possess or obtain with-in one (1) year a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with a tanker endorsement. Must possess or obtain with-in one (1) year a Basic First Aid CPR Certificate, Must possess or obtain with-in one (1) year Traffic Flagging Certificate.
