Local manufacture is seeking a key individual to assist in our wood working area. This position will assist with sanding, inspecting and assembling guitars. This position requires precise attention to detail and proficient hand to eye coordination / dexterity.
Individual must have experience in the following;
Experience in using wood working tools and equipment. Experience in using measuring devices, calipers, scales & tape measures. Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent teamwork skills. Excellent hand to eye coordination. Ability to establish and identify grain patterns. Ambitious, creative and forward-thinking. Must follow directions. Ability to use power/hand tools correctly and safely. Ability to communicate well in English.
Additional skills/background in assembly/finishing of cabinets, furniture wood products would be helpful.
