ARE YOU A GREAT PARENT?
Our agency, H.E.A.D.S., LLC (Healing Educational Alternatives for Deserving Students, LLC.), is looking for Specialized Therapeutic Foster Parents in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties to provide a safe and caring home for children that have been physically and emotionally abused.
H.E.A.D.S. is a provider of Behavioral Healthcare Services to at-risk kids and their families with twenty-plus years' experience helping kids to succeed. We offer on-going intensive training, 24/7 support, weekly individualized counseling and tax-free compensation$48 to $66 per day for each child you provide a loving home to. You will be paid for training, which takes approximately six weeks, once you are licensed and accept a placement within 30 days of being licensed.
Families must be able to pass a Level 2 background check (FDLE) and have no verified DCF reports. Candidates must also have an additional source of income (employed spouse, social security, etc.), and most importantly, a desire to help our area's most wounded children. Single parents are also welcome to apply.

Additional supports to our Foster Parents include but are not limited to:
Centralized referral, intake and assessment process
Ongoing education for foster parents
Weekly individualized counseling
Skill development/Family therapy
24-hour emergency, on-call services
Advocacy and support for case management and school systems
Psychiatric services
Individualized service plans
30-hour foster parent preparation course and 30-hour therapeutic training course
