Computer Technician “Assistant” Part-Time

We have an immediate opening for a PART TIME Computer Specialist “ASSISTANT”.

We are interested in people who can think and reason clearly, who can learn technical issues quickly and who can communicate to customers with patience and empathy.

Responsibilities Include:

Flexible Schedule / Part Time

Assist with troubleshooting and repair of hardware and software related issues, including peripheral devices, connectivity to local and wide area networks.

Assist with “Set-ups” new computer equipment, networks, printers etc.

Log all requests, incidents, and problems received and resolved.

Required Skills and Experience:

Must have a positive and proactive nature to follow through with helping customers get the answers they need with our support.

Good Communication Skills, both verbal and written.

Must be well organized, detail oriented, and able to handle numerous tasks.

Experienced “with support” in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and problem resolution computer, peripheral and network related issues.

Windows Xp, Vista, Windows 7 knowledge

Working knowledge of networking

A little problem-solving skills

A strong service and work ethic, with a focus on delivering quality service

Must be able to build and load a computer
