OverviewCHI St. Luke's Health - Memorial Lufkin is home to East Texas' largest emergency department, which has 32 private patient rooms, a dedicated imaging and laboratory department and a highly qualified staff of emergency physicians, nurse practitioners and registered trauma nurses.ResponsibilitiesThe Paramedic-I assists in the delivery of patient care and services to defined patient populations and their families under direction of the Registered Nurse, Manager, Director and Coordinator. The EMT - Paramedic practices Relationship Centered Care in collaboration with CHI St. Luke’s Hospital Systems values of Reverence, Integrity, Compassion and Excellence.QualificationsEducation and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED Required

One year direct patient care experience preferred

Required: 1 year experience as a Paramedic

Licensure or Certification:

Valid, current, State of Texas Paramedic License

Basic Life Support (BLS) AND Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
