This is a key role driving the continued success of the business, partnering closely with the Clarity General Manger, Sales, Product Management, other Finance/Accounting teams, and CIS senior management. CIS is looking for a strong Finance Manager to join their commercial team supporting Clarity, a successful, integrated acquisition which achieved 35% YoY growth in fiscal 2020. This key role combines financial ownership with close business partnering to support continued growth and provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-performing organization. What you’ll be doing
Ownership of revenue and related costs for Clarity within CIS, understanding key drivers of profitability, identifying potential risks/opportunities, and maximizing growth across the BU
Manage end to end business processes for month-end close, annual budget, forecasts, and strat plan. This includes planning internal executive meetings, coordination of presentations to executive leadership, and collaboration with all key stakeholders
Close partnering with the Clarity General Manager, Product Management, Sales, Pricing, and Development teams to provide clear visibility into the revenue pipeline, support new product launches, and capitalize on EBIT expansion opportunities
Heavy emphasis is placed on improving current processes and procedures through streamlining and automation, applying financial discipline, and collaboration with business partners to deliver the broader CIS business strategy.
Establish best practices and embrace and promote a culture that emphasizes accountability, integrity, partnership and transparency
What your background looks like
5 years of related experience in commercial finance, FP&A or closely related role
Intellectual curiosity, proactive and proven growth mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related discipline; MBA preferred; familiarity with Tableau a plus
Highly collaborative, accountable, and eager to work with business leaders in a fast-paced environment
Analytical thinker, flexible problem solver, and team player with the ability to multi-task several important priorities simultaneously
High degree of commercial acumen; able to drive high level processes while maintaining attention to detail
Progressive experience across multiple financial domains including financial analysis, forecasting, pricing, management reporting, budgeting and strategic planning
Aptitude to learn and drive continuous improvement and solve problems in a team environment. Experience leading improvement efforts in finance preferred
Working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues in a simple manner; ability to adapt message and analysis to fit the audience
