Inventory & Receiving Coordinator ( Coffee Processing) - Sumner, WA
As an Coffee Processing Coordinator you will gain a thorough knowledge of the coffee processing steps from receiving raw, green coffee through providing our packaging lines with product.
You will be responsible for several coffee processing steps. You will be cross trained in raw, green bean receiving, green bean loading, grinding, blending and flavoring.
Schedule & Compensation :
This position starts at $16.25 / hour with an attractive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.) included.
It will support our coffee processing team's D2 Shift . Hours will be from 5 : 00am - 5 : 15pm PST on a rotating schedule as follows :
Week #1 : Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, & Sunday
Week #2 : Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday
Additional flexibility to work overtime, including nights and / or holidays, is also required as scheduled.
What you will do :
Operate a forklift and other material moving equipment in accordance with safety requirements
Attentive to daily scheduling required to meet customer demands
Operate particle distribution analyzer
Perform all duties of green been loader (inventory cycle counts, loading green, unloading trucks, perform quality checks)
Perform all duties of a blender (maintain FIFO in the roasted silos, inventory cycle counts, rework coffee as needed)
Perform all duties of a flavor blender (apply appropriate flavoring to coffee, Inventory)
Perform all duties of a grinder (perform particle analysis, adjust grind recipes)
Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment (with assistance of a maintenance tech)
Perform computer transactions in SAP
Utilize operator interface panels
Prepares machines for startup and shutdown procedures as necessary
Work to better themselves through attaining SCAA certifications
Responsible for ensuring the production of a safe, wholesome and quality product and requires trained designees when applicable.

What you must have :
Computer program agility required; prior experience with SAP MES or a similar inventory control system highly preferred
1+ year of of forklift experience required
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Basic knowledge of mechanics and / or machine operation experience highly preferred
Strong mathematical skills using percentages and fractions while working with recipes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to uphold Safety standards, participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follow our Manufacturing best practices
Ability to positively and comfortably handle and prioritize multiple task in a fast-paced changing environment requiring self-motivation and focused attention to detail
Ability to work positively in a team environment and occasionally work a flexible schedule with overtime and little / no supervision
Ability to follow Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures as well as our Operating principles
Ability to lift 150 pounds with assistance
Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch, climb stairs, and stand during entire shift
Ability to push / pull up to 1,500 pounds using supplied equipment
Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist and reach overhead with repetitive motions
